About Us
We are the “Anchor for the Combat Soldier” nonprofit organization, established to reach combat soldiers and reservists who need support but are not receiving it today, including those who are not recognized by the Ministry of Defense. After examining the issue - and because we all served as combatants - we found that about 95% of the soldiers who served in the war do not proactively seek mental health support due to barriers such as stigma, cost, or a "toughen up" / "be a man" culture. Our goal is to identify these soldiers through field networks and commanders, and to build tools for support and an active community for them.
Our model will be based on experiential workshops (such as carpentry, boxing, baking, and yoga) and retreats (in-depth workshops and journeys). All of these will be led and facilitated by professionals, either voluntarily or for a symbolic fee, in order to prevent trauma from becoming entrenched and to enable a full and safe return to everyday life.

Nehemia Danzig
A company commander in the Paratroopers Brigade, leading soldiers on the front lines since the battles of October 7 in Be’eri through fighting in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria. Drawing on prolonged operational experience and coping with the loss of close friends, Nehemia dedicates his work to Israeli advocacy worldwide and to developing resilience content based on field experience—aimed at giving fighters tools to process combat experiences and move forward.

Tal Rachmani
An entrepreneur and real estate professional who serves as an active reserve combat soldier. Tal combines entrepreneurial thinking with a deep social mission, and works to support and accompany families affected by the “Nova” festival, as well as to build resilience communities.

Omer Kaufman
A civil engineer specializing in tunneling and underground infrastructure, a founding member of the School for Underground Infrastructure and Civil Tunneling, and the owner of an engineering and management firm. He has served continuously as a fighter in the Paratroopers Reconnaissance Unit since 1995, including during Operation “Swords of Iron.” He brings a unique blend of advanced technical expertise, engineering mindset, and extensive frontline operational experience.

Shachar Shelo
A Major (Res.) who served as the commander of the brigade commander’s command post (TAC HQ) for the Commando Brigade in the reserves, with deep command experience in combat. Outside of uniform, Shachar is a creative entrepreneur, project manager, and a people-connector. He brings a unique blend of strategic thinking, entrepreneurship, and uncompromising execution.

Amit Cohen
Serves in the reserves as a deputy unit commander in the Israeli Navy, with extensive and continuous reserve sea duty since the outbreak of the war. Alongside his operational service, Amit is a mechanical engineer who studied at the Technion and currently works at Mentee Robotics, a company developing humanoid robots. He leverages the command and engineering experience he has gained to manage complex systems and projects within the organization.

Yuval Elimelech
A reserve combat soldier who took part in fighting across multiple fronts in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria throughout the war. Yuval is a mechanical engineer who joined the organization out of a personal sense of mission, contributing his experience in processing combat experiences and helping teams recover from trauma. He works to provide coping and growth tools for other fighters who have been through similar experiences on the battlefield.
